Rotation Rehearsal

The Tip: 

Most amateurs feel their turns are not full enough, and subsequently over rotate. A general rule of thumb to follow is, try and turn your shoulders through 90 degrees, and your hips through 45 degrees. At the completion of the backswing, both your left shoulder and right shoulder should be behind the ball.

REHEARSAL – Address a golf ball, instead of gripping the club. Position the club behind your back. (See below)

Now whilst maintaining both your spine angle and right knee angle, turn your shoulders so both shoulders are positioned behind the ball. (See below)

Once you have completed your backswing, uncoil through into a complete follow through position. (See below)
